Course Objectives: 
The aim of the seminar is to give students an overview of necessary knowledge and experiences of the field of gallery and museum management. The seminat should help students to become comfortable and knowledgeable in the field of Gallery and Museum Management, its’ niches and prerogatives.
Course Content: 

Next to contemporary theories, students will get a deep insight view in gallery and museum management through various case studies of galleries and museums in Istanbul and abroad. In the end of the seminar, case studies, study trips as well as student presentations, which are based on interviews with professional gallery and museum managers, will create a connection to practice.
