Gökçe Kaplan, one of the students of the Department of Fashion and Textile Design, has earned the honour of winning the second prize in the 3rd Junioshow Baby & Kidswear Young Designer Competition under the category of Girl’s Clothing (Ages 1-10 Yrs.). Gökçe was awarded her prize during the opening day of Bursa International Baby, Kidswear & Kids Necessities Fair.
Cansu Ödemiş, who graduated in 2016 as the top student of both the Department of Fashion and Textile Design and the Faculty of Fine Arts, has achieved a great success with her collection by being selected for the cover of Trend Privé Magazine’s August 2018 issue.
“Cooking as a Chemical Reaction,” which covers cooking as a chemical reaction, has already been used as an obligatory textbook in Central Queensland University in Australia. Published in 2014, it is also used as an additional textbook in some high schools in the United States and has been on the shelves of libraries of many important universities.
