Course Objectives: 
To trace key social and cultural theorists and ideas. To get acquainted with critical terms and concepts. To discuss and question the “normalized” boundaries between dominant and subordinate, high and low, men and women, me and other, etc. in and through history of ideas.
Course Content: 

The course is an introductory level investigation into the approaches to the study and critique of culture and society after WW II. By covering some of the most influential theorists and key concepts, the course aims to examine a range of issues and problems especially concerning power and inequality.
