Course Objectives:
This course is a theoretical introduction to understanding the political dimension of culture. Its purpose is to examine the theoretical approaches that shape the current cultural policy discourse, to examine the development and paradigm changes of the field of cultural policy research, and to teach the interrelation of theory and practice.
Course Content:
The students will learn terminology for cultural economics and they will able to follow theory of economical issues. A conceptual framework will be developed through definitions, models, and the utilization of case studies.
