Course Objectives: 
The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to Aesthetics and Art Philosophy by examining examples of leading philosophers from Antiquity to the 19th century. It therefore establishes a link between the past and beginning of modern art philosophy.
Course Content: 

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the field of philosophy of art and aesthetics. The basic topics of aesthetics and basic figures are selected to be discussed. At the end of the course students will be able to discuss the evolution of art in the conceptual way, will have the sufficient knowledge to evaluate and discuss the backgrounds of art styles and art works and also will have the understanding of social, ideological, philosophical interralations of art.
