orn in 1964 in Marmara Island, in the village of Gündoğdu, the artist attended Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture from 1986 to 1991.
His first short stories and poems were published in the Yazın Magazine in 1990. In addition to his work on short and feature-length films, he collaborated with Cypriot poet Mehmet Kansu to produce the poetry and drawing book "İki Ada" in 2001. His poetry book "Gemi Ne Zaman Gelecek" was published by Assos Publications in 2010, and in 2021, he released a book titled "Son Sefer," which narrates the stories of ships working in the Marmara Sea. From 2006 to 2008, he wrote articles for the monthly newspaper "Gaste" and later for "S".
Since 2001, he has been working as a part-time instructor in the Department of Plastic Arts at Yeditepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts. In 2017-2018, he worked at Arkin Creative Arts and Design University in Cyprus.
He conducts artist interviews for the international "Ars Axis" magazine published in Cyprus.
He continues his work in Istanbul and Marmara Island.
