Course Objectives:
The goal of this course is to teach the methods of expressing unit forms that would be used in surface design, considering the principles of textile design.
Course Content:

Nature is used as a base while teaching the drawing techniques. Drawing exercises executed considering the principles of textile design. Showing how to express three dimensional elements on a two dimensional surface. Structural parts (bud, flower, leaf, stem etc.) of several plants, different versions (live, semi-dead, dead) of these parts and other elements (stones, branches, seeds, insectst etc.) that can be found in nature are investigated.

Course Methodology:
1: Lecture, 2: Question-Answer, 3: Discussion, 9: Simulation, 12: Case Study
Course Evaluation Methods:
A: Testing, B: Drawing/Painting, C: Homework
