Course Objectives:
The goal of this course is to form a foundation about the materials used in the textile industry.
Course Content:
Information about the qualities of textile fibers is given. Technical and physical qualities of natural, synthetic and chemical fibers are probed. Systems of spinning, textile finishing processes, textile dyeing processes are investigated. Materials used in supporting ad gastening are also examined.
