Course Objectives: 
The main objective of this course is to study the staging of different identities such as social identities, national and gender identities within the cultural and social contexts.
Course Content: 

During the classes excerpts from theatre, literature and cinema texts will be discussed with an emphasis on the changes of the identities in time and the construction of gender streotypes. Students will be able to analyze the theatrical texts and the dramaturgical approaches in the process of applying these texts into staging by using a participant obsevation method.
