- In addition to the 131-credit course load in their 4-year curriculum, Graphic Design Department students are obliged to complete their compulsory internship of 60 working days, which is stated as a requirement for graduation.
- 60 working days can be divided into 30 working days/ working days. Internships can be done at different times and in different institutions. In this case, internship documents will be filled out twice and insurance procedures will be initiated twice in different periods.
- Students can complete their internships during break periods or summer holidays.
- Students cannot do internships while taking courses during class periods. Only 4th year students can do internships during class periods; Free days other than class days can be counted as working days. 4th grade students whose weekly course schedules are checked should not have classes on the days they specify as working days.
- Internship insurance is covered by Yeditepe University. Internship remuneration is evaluated specifically for the institution where the internship takes place.
- Students must fill out the internship documents completely and submit them to the department at least 15 days before the internship start date. Internship documents submitted in less than 15 days are rejected by Human Resources. In order to initiate insurance transactions on time, the 15-day rule must be followed.
- Internship start and end dates should be adjusted on a working day basis. Sundays and public holidays (August 30, October 29, etc.) are not counted as internship days. If the internship institution works actively on Saturday, Saturday is counted as the internship day. If the organization does not work on Saturday, Saturday is not counted as a internship day.
- An Internship Report must be filled out during the internship. The internship report must be submitted to the internship officer (Research Assistant Furkan Uzun) within 15 days after the internship ends. The last page of the internship report must include the opinions and signature of the internship officer at the internship institution about the intern.
- Internship Documents are listed below. Documents numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 must be submitted at least 15 days before the start date of the internship; Document number 9 must be submitted to the internship officer within 15 days after the internship ends.
