Course Objectives:

To give information about "engraving" which is an original printing technique and to apply different methods. - To raise awareness of the easier accessibility of artistic production to more masses with original reproductions.

Course Content:

The student is taught artistic engraving application techniques in the application workshops and made research and project application.

Course Flow

COURSE CONTENT

1	To meet, to inform about the content of the course, the process and the application. Homework; Sketches prepared in accordance with the etching logic will be brought.
2	Sanding and lacquering of the plates for the first and second work.
3	Transferring the first sketch to the plate.
4	Making proof prints
5	Final checks and corrections of the work. Making proof prints
6	FIRST MID-TERM EXAM EVALUATION Making original prints and numbering. Homework ; Sketches will be brought for the second study.
7	Making original prints and numbering.
8	Transferring the sketches selected for the second printing onto lacquered plates.
9	Transferring onto zinc with the help of nitric acid. Making proof prints
10	SECOND MIDTERM EVALUATION Final checks and corrections of the second study. Making original prints and numbering. Homework ; Sketches will be brought for the third study.
11	Transferring the sketches related to the third work (Aquatint and sugar technique)
12	Making proof prints
