- To give information about "engraving" which is an original printing technique and to apply different methods.
- To raise awareness of the easier accessibility of artistic production to more masses with original reproductions.

- The student is taught artistic engraving application techniques in the application workshops and made research and project application.

The materials used in the lesson are apart from the materials available in the workshop; For engraving, zinc in different sizes and thicknesses, metal tips for engraving, linoleum and wood and linoleum boards for wood printing, scraping tips.
