In WEB DESIGN course, students are informed about basic principles of web design, interaction design principles and user experiences. Students will be able to use web design formats (Adobe Dreamweaver or equivalent), web tags formats and features, html tags, workspace, tools, menus and panels, web project planning and diagramming, linking between pages, in-page ordered and unordered lists working, visual preparation and insertion in pixel based program for web, navigation design, menus and buttons, web colors and web typography, working with CSS, paragraph and title shaping with styles, creating background and frames, creating multi-column dynamic pages, using javascript, gain information about designing websites such as adding additions (pop-up windows, buttons etc.). Gain experience in designing and implementing websites.
