Course Objectives: 
To examine the basic concepts of art and art history, art history terminology, art movements and the social and cultural structure of the periods in which these movements emerged
Course Content: 

It creates an understanding of the development of art history by examining the formal and conceptual transformations in art from the second half of the 19th century to the present. Important artists, periods and movements influencing the development of art; will be analyzed through visuals and texts.

1 Information is given about the purpose and content of the course.

Information is given about the weekly program and assessment and evaluation methods through Silibus.

The subject of research in the midterm exam is determined in a way that each student is given different subject titles and the topics are distributed.

The subject of the research is prepared in two languages, Turkish and English, and the midterm exam week is submitted to the lecturer of the course.

The percentage effect of the research paper on the midterm exam is determined and announced by the lecturer of the course.
