Course Objectives:
The goal of this course is to supply the student with the knowledge and ability of preparing a basic pattern, which is considered to be the fundamental element of garment construction.
Course Content:
Involves the process of preparing a basic pattern for a classic shirt, trousers, jacket and skirt. Execution of darts, flares, godets and pleats to basic patterns. Also the processes of attaching an arm to an armhole and gathering technique.
