Course Objectives:
The goal of this course is to equip students with the knowledge of structures, types and production techniques of knitted textiles, to encourage them on using knitted textiles in their designs.
Course Content:
The fundamentals of knitting, types of knitting, weft knitting and warp knitting, definition of the loop, tools and machinery used in warp knitting, tools and machinery used in weft knitting, techniques of obtaining patterns in warp knitting, techniques of obtaining patterns in weft knitting.
